Ajith Kumar's new film 'AK 61' is one of the if not the most awaited in Tamil cinema in recent times. It marks the consecutive third time collaboration of Ajith with director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor. The film has Ajith and Manju Warrier in the lead roles supported by Sanjay Dutt, Veera, Mahanadhi Shankar, G.M. News has now broken out that the team is planning to use the powerful title 'Thunive Thunai' for 'AK 61'. Already a super hit Jaishankar starrer carrying the same title was released in 1976 which was a cow boy style action entertainer. Lets await the final confirmation as there is also talk that according to Ajith's "V" sentiment 'Vallamai' is also under consideration.

The final leg of shooting for 'AK 61' will take place in Bangkok and most of the cast and crew members have already flown there. Ajith and Manju Warrier will join the sets in a few days time and after a month the entire film will be wrapped up. Boney Kapoor is reportedly eyeing the Pongal 2023 festive release date.
