Ajith like always is ruling the social media platforms as pics and videos of his current European bike tour are going viral. He is expected to return home by the end of the month and will resume the shooting of 'AK 61'.

Meanwhile there is a hot buzz in Kollywood that the title and the first look of 'AK 61' will be unveiled on August 13th. The date is a significant one as it is the birthday of producer Boney Kapoor's late wife and legendary actress Sridevi. It is also a known fact that Ajith was very close to the senior actress and even acted in a cameo role in her 'English Vinglish' without taking any remuneration. It is also said that Ajith signed a three film deal with Boney Kapoor because he gave his word to Sridevi before her death.

'AK 61' is directed by H. Vinoth with Nirav Shah handling the camera and Gibran in charge of the music score. The ensemble cast include Ajith, Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, Veera, Mahanathi Shankar, Bhagavathy Perumal and G.M. Sundar among others. The film is planned for a wordwide release during the Christmas weekend this year.
