We had earlier reported that a case has been filed against actor Aju Varghese for naming the assaulted actress in a Facebook post. Recently, the actor mentioned the name of the actress on his Facebook post supporting actor Dileep, who was recently arrested in association with the actress abduction case.

Following the post, Aju had received flak from the online world. After learning that he shouldn't mention the actress' name, Aju apologized and later edited the post too. The complaint has been filed on the basis of a complaint made by a person named Gireesh Babu.

And now, a day ago, Aju was questioned and his statements have been by Kalamassery police. The actor's iPhone from which the Facebook post has been made is seized by the Police. Reportedly, the mobile phone has been sent for scientific examination to verify whether the post was uploaded from that device. The actor was left after the Police questioning but will be arrested after they receive the result. An FIR has been filed against Aju Varghese and a case was registered under section 22 B (A) of the IPC.
