Ajith's Veeranokkade

Ajith's Siva Directed Veeram is gearig up for a grand Pongal release on Janauary 10th. The film touted as a full fledged family entertainer has been certified with a clean U certificate by the censor board last week.

Now the latest is that the films will be released in Telugu as well and the title of the Telegu version will be Veerudokkade (meaning Lone Warrior). Veerudokkade's distribution rights have been acquired by Srini Babu, the man who acquired the Telugu dubbing rights of Arrambam the previous outing of Ajith.

Veerudokkade is likely to release in the last week of Janauary since two direct Telugu films Ramcharan Teja's Yevadu and Mahesh Babu's Nenokadine are getting ready for a grand Sankaranthi (Pongal) release.

Apart from Ajith, the director Siva who has also given hit films in Telugu like Souryam and Sangam and a popular face among Telegu fans. And there is no necessity to describe Tamanna's popularity in the Telugu speaking land. Hence Veeram's Telgugu version can be expected to have a great opening in Andhrapradesh.
