Thala Ajith has scored back to back hits this year with Siva directed Viswasam which was released this Pongal, and H Vinoth's Pink remake Ner Konda Paarvai which was released in August. After the success of both these movies, Ajith is set to begin his 60th movie today.

Thala 60 is also directed by H Vinoth, and produced by Boney Kapoor amd the pooja of the movie will be held today with shooting planned from November. This movie is said to be a police story with family emotions, and with Ajith sporting a new look, is said to be titled as Valimai.

Now the latest rumour making rounds is that Thala Ajith's 61st movie might have him joining hands with director AR Murugadoss, who has finished Darbar with Superstar Rajnikanth, and that this movie might be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Though there is no official confirmation, it must be noted that Murugadoss had debuted with Dheena starring Ajith.
