At 'Veeram' press meet, attended by director Siva, music director Devi Sri Prasad, stunt master Silva, editor Kasi Viswanathan and many others, the director opened up on 'Veeram' script, running time, tidbits and many more on the Thala Pongal release. Taking the mic, Siva said "It was Ajith's idea to come up with a racy commercial entertainer, and with 'Veeram', the actor has undergone a complete change from his urban appeal to rural mass look.

Ajith has performed keeping his energy levels at a never-before high, and he has willingly performed in many comic scenes in the film." Having been in shooting for a good 110 days, the film certified a clear U will run for 2 hours and 35 minutes on screen.
