Ajith Kumar, one of the most charismatic and inspiring film stars in the country turned 52 today. While celebrities and fans are conveying their best wishes on social media the man himself is in Nepal on one of his short international bike tours.
However fans got what they wanted as Lyca Productions officially announced that Ajith's next movie 'AK 62' has been titled 'Vidaamuyarchi' directed by Magizh Thirumeni with Anirudh scoring the music. Filming is expected to begin in the last week of May or mid June.
It is well known that Ajith will be embarking on a one and half year old bike tour Ride For Mutual Respect' that will cover all the major cities of the globe across the seven continents. He was planning for it after completing 'AK 62' directed by Vignesh Shivan which unfortunately got dropped and has been delayed for almost six months.
Now there is a hot buzz from unconfirmed sources that Netflix and other OTT platforms are keen to capitalize on the universal fan following of Ajith. It is said that talks have been initiated to make a documentary on Ajith's world bike tour and an unheard of huge amount has been offered. It is said that if the deal goes through this project will be completed before Ajith moves on to 'AK 63' most probably produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Siruthai Siva.
However it is not clear if Ajith who is known to be publicity shy, would accept such an offer. Only time will tell. Meanwhile ace cinematographer Nirav Shah who travelled with Ajith Kumar on his all India bike tour has captured all the important moments of the tour involving the mass hero. It is reported that he already edited it and gifted it to the Ajith family. Though fans would love to watch it the very private Ajith may not make it available for public viewing.
