While the fans of Ajith and Rajini have geared up to witness the biggest clash of the decade on January 10 with the simultaneous release of Viswasam and Petta, the hype surrounding the two movies are increasing by the minute. The films are competing for nearly 1000 screens in Tamil Nadu, which will be equally divided among the movies.

Meanwhile, the first show timings have been confirmed for both the movies. While 4 AM IST is said to be the allotted time for Petta’s first ever show in Tamil Nadu, Viswasam is reportedly being screened across several theatres in Tamil Nadu at 1 AM IST, 3 hours ahead of the former.

While Karthik Subbaraj’s Petta has been promoted as a trademark Rajinikanth film, Siva’s Viswasam is expected to be a family entertainer.
