Ajith pays last respect to 'Amma' and her good friend

As we reported yesterday, actor Ajith Kumar returned to Chennai from Bulgaria where he has been shooting for his upcoming film 'AK57', to pay his last respects to former CM J.Jayalalitha who passed away on the night of December 5.

Due to the excessive distance and flight travel time Ajith could reach Chennai only by late night afterthe final rites were completed and Jaya was laid to rest in Anna Square by evening itself. However Ajith along with his wife Shalini visited the place where the Puratchi Thalaivi was buried and paid a soulful homage.

From there, the much loved star directly visited the Apollo Hospitals to pay his last respects to the actor and political commentator Cho Ramasamy who passed away at the early hours of Wednesday (December 7).
