Last week Ajith is fans were disappointed as the trailer of the star's upcoming film 'Vedalam' could not be released as it was speculated in media. But now the long wait is over and it has been officially confirmed that the 2 minutes and 32 seconds long trailer will be released on 29th October 2015, well in tune with the Thursday sentiment. Which means the trailer can be expected to bang the online space at 12 am in the intervening night of today and tomorrow.

The news has been confirmed by Ayngaran International which has acquired the overseas distribution rights of the film with a poster mentioning the trailer release and theatrical release dates. Contrary to the speculation that the film would hit the screen on November 5, the Thursday falling ahead of Deepavali day, the poster says that the Siruthai Siva directed film will hit the screens on November 10 (Tuesday) which is also the Deepavali festival holiday.

'Arrambam' and 'Yennai Arindhal'. the Ajith films produced by A.M.Ratnam have released only on Thursdays as he is a staunch devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba. In the case of 'Vedalam', the director is also a Sai devotee. This gave strong credence for reports and speculations that the film will release on Nov 5.
