Ajith films to release in Deepavali 2016 and Pongal 2017

As we all know Thala Ajith is taking rest after a surgery on his leg due to an injury suffered during the shooting of his latest super hit film 'Vedalam'. It was said that Ajith will take rest upto Summer 2016 and will start shooting in June for his next film which will most likely be directed by Siva who had given back to back hits with Ajith in 'Veeram' and 'Vedalam'.
Now we learn from sources that Thala will be compensating for the gap and treat his fans with two quick releases after getting back to business. Ajith will be simultaneously acting in Siva's film and also a film to be directed by Vishnuvardhan who has also given two hits with Ajith in 'Billa' and 'Arrambam'. If things go as per plan Ajith's film with Siva will release for Deepavali 2016 and Vishnu's film will hit the screens on Pongal 2017. Producers of both the films are yet to be finalized.
