Anything to do with actor Ajith Kumar successfully makes headlines in tabloids, new media and television channels, what with the actor's fan following and a number of young stars looking up to him as their idol.

The latest joining the bandwagon of talks surrounding him in tinsel town is that, the actor might do 'Dookudu' remake in Tamil for producer AM Ratnam!

Kollywood grapevine is abuzz from few days that Ajith might do a film for producer AM Ratnam and has demanded a fee of whooping 17 crore rupees, now it is speculated that this film might be the remake of Telugu 'Dookudu' that features Mahesh Babu and Samantha in the lead roles.

A few birdies further say that Jayam Raja will be directing this venture. However, when IG contacted both the sources they denied it as mere rumours. Reliable sources express that it is likely that Ajith will do a movie with AM Ratnam, but there are no confirmed reports on the script or the director as of now.

'Dookudu' is one of the most-expected biggies in AP and will hit the screens this weekend, we'll get back shortly with more updates on this.
