The third version of Thala Ajith's 'Veeram'

Actor Ajith's family based action entertainer 'Veeram' turned out to be a all class super hit and the film also marked his first time pairing up with director Siva with who he delivered the latest blockbuster 'Vedalam'. The actor-director duo will be pairing up for the third time and the shoot of the film is all set to begin from Summer 2016.
Now the information coming from Tollywood sources is that plans are afoot to remake 'Veeram' in Telugu. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has apparently given his nod to star in the remake as he is impressed with the film's story. If things fall in place Vamsi will be directing the remake, which will be produced by Mythri Movies banner which produced Prince Mahesh Babu's super hit film 'Srimanthudu'.
It is worth noting that 'Veeram' was dubbed in Telugu as 'Veerudokkadey' which was well received by the Telugu audience. It will be interesting to wait and watch how the remake is going to work.
Before that we will have to wait for an official confirmation about the project.
