We had earlier reported that 'Thala 57' will begin by mid July. Now the information coming from a reliable source reveal that the film will go on floors within the 16th of July.

The Tamil month of Aadi begins on July 16. This month is considered to be inauspicious to conduct film poojas and to begin anything new. So it is said that the Satya Jyothi Films banner is planning to have the film's pooja and start the shooting on an auspicious day before July 16.

'Thala 57' will be directed by Siva after the super hit 'Veeram' and 'Vedala'. Ajith reportedly plays an FBI Agent in this film that will be predominantly shot in foreign locales/ Anushka and Ritika Singh are apparently in talks for the heroine roles. Anirudh Ravichander is on board as the music composer and Vetri will take care of cinematography. Anu Vardhan will design the stylish costumes for Ajith in this film.
