Reliable sources have confirmed to Indiaglitz, that the much expected teaser of Thala Ajith, Shruthi Haasan and Lakshmi Menon starrer 'Vedhalam' will be released at around 12 am on October 8 keeping the Thursday sentiment of the film's producer A.M. Rathnam alive.

As it is being reported for quite sometime the film's unit headed by director Siva is running faster than the clock to achieve the Deepavali release deadline set by the Producer. The film's music album composed by Anirudh Ravichander can be expected by the mid of this month.

We have learnt from sources close to the 'Vedhalam' unit that there are high possibilities of the film releasing on November 5, the Thursday before the Deepavali festival day which falls on November 10. Sources have confirmed that the plans are on to release the film on Thursday as Ajith's recent films 'Arrambam' and 'Yennai Arindhaal' both produced by A.M.Ratnam released on Thursday and achieved box office success.
