As we all know director Lingusamy and Vishal are gearing up to work on the sequel of their 2006 blockbuster flick Sandakozhi'. Lingusamy has been scouting for the right heroine for this flick who will be an addition to Meera Jasmine who played the lead lady role in the first part and will be retained in the sequel.

While Vishal has refuted rumors suggesting that Tamannah or Nayanthara would be the heroine of this film now we have reliable source suggesting that Shamili, the younger sister of Thala' Ajith's wife Shalini is likely to be zeroed in for the role.

Shamili has acted as a child artists in many super hit films and she debuted as a heroine with Siddharth in a Telugu film Oy'.

Lingusamy seems to have been impressed by Shamili's pictures that surfaced in the internet and has opted to go with her as the lead lady. In that case, this will be the first Tamil film for Shamili as a heroine.

Sandakozhi is expected to go on floors from September.
