An interesting secret about how Ajith proposed to Shalini

It is a known fact that Thala Ajith and Shalini fell in love while shooting for the Saran directed 1999 super hit action flick 'Amarkkalam'. The couple married the next year and have been living as the most loved celebrity couple with two precious gifts in the form of a daughter and a son.

Now we have learnt an interesting secret about how Thala proposed to Shalini for the first time gathered from a reliable source.

'Amarkkalam' had a romantic duet number 'Unnodu Vazhadha' which was a dream song for Shalini about her love for her man. Ajith expressed his love for Shalini by giving this the cassette in which this song composed by music director Bharadwaj.

Ajith and Shalini are admired by everyone, not just because they are star couple, but also because they set an example for a caring husband and a loving wife.
