As it is being rumored for quite a long time Thala Ajith will be playing a call-taxi driver in Kolkata in his upcoming film 'Vedalam'. Soori who has been signed up to play the lead comedian role int he film will be the owner of the Call-Taxi agency and also the boss of Ajith in the film.

Kollywood insiders reveal that the employer-employee combination comedy scenes between Ajith and Soori will give ROFL moments for the audience.

As it has been revealed from the photographs leaked from the shooting spot of "Vedalam' Shruthi Haasan plays the role of an advocate professional while Lakshmi Menon is a college student and Ajith's younger sister in the film.

Thambi Ramiah reportedly plays the role of a visually impaired well off person in the film.

'Vedalam' directed by Siruthai Siva is scheduled for Diwali release while the music album composed by Anirudh Ravichander will be available to listen from tomorrow.
