Yesterday it was being said that actor Ajith is going to direct a short film with Appukutty in the lead role.

But Ajith's PR Suresh Chandra has confirmed in his social media page that 'Thala' directing a short film is a mere rumor. However the actor who is currently busy shooting for his 56th film directed by Siva has taken photographs with actor Appukutty whose original name is Sivabalan posing as a model. More details on this will be revealed soon.
