'Thala 57' to release on 'Theri' date

As we reported earlier Sathyajyothi films Thiagarajan and Siruthai Siva have planned to hold a grand pooja launch function of 'Thala 57' on May 1st for the first time for a Ajith film which usually are very silent affairs.

It is now being reported that the shooting would begin in June and 'Thala 57' will release on the 14th of April 2017, exactly a year after Illayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' release date next friday. Kajal Agarwal, Kriti Shanon and Tammannaah are likely to be signed as heroines while Anirudh is expected to score the music. More official light will surely bee thrown on this mega project on Thala Ajith's birthday in three weeks time.
