There is a lot of contradicting news going on about Thala Ajith's next after 'Viswasam'. The confirmed news is that the producer is Boney Kapoor and Ajith is doing the project because he had given his word to the late Sridevi when he played a cameo in her 'English Vinglish' without any remuneration.

The latest buzz is that 'Thala 59' would be the remake of 'Pink' starring Amitabh Bachan and Tapsee Pannu that dealt with an ageing lawyer who takes up a molestation case.  The director would in all probability be H. Vinod of 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' fame and it is said that the work of adapting the script to suit Tamil audience and Ajith's mass hero image has already begun.

It is also reported that H.Vinod would be directing a movie starring Vikram as well in the near future.
