Actor Ajith had acted in the movie Mugavaree, which was released 20 years ago on this day. The movie which was produced by NIC Arts SS Chakravarthy was the debut direction venture of VZ Durai and had received great reviews and had great performances from Raghuvaran, K Viswanath and Sithara.

Mugavaree revolved around an aspiring music director Sridhar played by Ajithkumar and about how his dreams have an impact over his family and love and whether he was able to achieve his dreams. The movie had a superhit album composed by Deva.

As the movie celebrates its 20th anniversary today, the movie's cinematographer PC Sreeramhas tweeted praising it. He has tweeted "#Mugavari The film was released a decade back.
