Director Lingusamy, who has handled blockbusters like Anandham and Run, returns to wield the megaphone, almost after a gap of two years. He is currently churning out a film titled G which is being produced by NIC Arts.

According to Lingusamy, my debut venture Anandham was a family entertainer, while Run was action-packed, romantic subject, which went down well with the masses. Now my next film - G is about a student taking to politics. It will have the right mix of humor, romance and actions to appease fans.

Actress Trisha, who is on a high after featuring in the successful Ghilli is cast opposite Ajith. Vijayakumar, Charanraj, Venkat Prabhu, Manivannan, Illavarasu and Vamsi are also in the cast.

Lingusamy adds, shooting of a major portion of the movie has been completed. We are planning to shoot a couple of songs in foreign locations too. Ajith, whose last film Anchaneya took a beating at the box-office, is pinning hopes on G. He is also acting in a couple of other movies - Attagasam being directed by Charan and Mirattal directed by Murugadoss.

Arthur Wilson is cranking the camera for G, while Vidyasagar is scoring the music. Stunts are by Super Subbarayan, editing by V T Vijayan and choreography by Raju Sundaram.

G will certainly make a mark among youth in the State, a confident Lingusamy says.
