Ajith Kumar who has blazed his own trail in Tamil cinema is one of the biggest stars in South Indian cinema. Recently he delivered the blockbuster hit 'Thunivu' directed by H. Vinoth which once again proved that he is the box office king.
Ajith's next movie 'AK 62' which was supposed to go on floors last December has been delayed due to the change in the director with Magizh Thirumeni replacing Vignesh Shivan. Sources say that the film produced by Lyca Productions with music by Anirudh will go on floors in a few weeks time.
Meanwhile there is a buzz in Tollywood that director Shankar has approached Ajith to play a powerful extended cameo role in his 'RC 15' starring Ram Charan Teja and Kiara Advani. The reports suggest that the role is similar to Rolex played by Suriya in Kamal Haasan's monster hit 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
However sources close to the mass hero have denied any such talks and made it clear that Ajith is not interested in playing cameos and his full focus is on 'AK 62'. It is also well known that the passionate biker will embark on a world tour "Ride For Mutual Respect" after completing the film.
Shankar on the other hand is simultaneously helming Kamal Hasan's 'Indian 2' costarring Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani and Guru Somasundaram among others.
