The official announcement on the commencement of Ajith's new film 'Vidaamuyarchi' is what his fans are waiting for, for several months now. As reported by us earlier the issues surrounding the mega project have been sorted out and soon the film will go on floors.

There have been reports earlier that Trisha Krishnan and Tamannaah Bhatia are in talks to play the female leads in 'Vidaamuyarchi'. Now there is a buzz that fresh talks have been held with Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi. It is well known that Huma played the female lead opposite Ajith already in 'Valimai' directed by H. Vinoth. As of now it is unclear whether the 37 year old actress will replace one of the other heroines or hers is the third female lead character.

'Vidaamuyarchi' is directed by Magizh Thirumeni and is produced by Lyca Productions with Anirudh scoring the music and Nirav Shah handling the camera. The film title was announced officially on May 1st this year in view of Ajith Kumar's 52nd birthday.
