Meanwhile, a fan video has been released on Twitter that lists out the super hit films bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.

The most famous film produced by Boney Kapoor remains the Shekhar Kapur directed sci-fi film Mr India starring his brother Anil Kapoor and his future wife Sridevi. It was the second biggest hit of 1987 and remains a cult classic in India.

Mr India was made in a sum of Rs 4 crore and grossed around Rs 10 crores in that period itself. Following this, the next venture financed by Boney Kapoor is 'Judaai' starring Anil Kapoor and Sridevi became a huge hit as well. This 1997 film was made on a budget of Rs 6 crore and collected Rs 28 crores.

Then, Boney Kapoor produced 'Pukar' in the year 2000 starring Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit emerged as a super hit. Also, 'Company' is another super hit movie backed by Ponikapur. The film starred Mohanlal and Manisha Koirala in the lead roles grossed around Rs 225 crores.

This movie directed by Prabhu Deva was one of the biggest hits in Bollywood.

Then, Boney Kapoor produced his wife Sri Devi starrer crime thriller film 'Mom' in 2017. This venture became a super hit worldwide. It was made at a budget of Rs 37 crores and banked Rs 180 crores. After this, Boney Kapoor produced Ajith Kumar's 'Nerkonda Paarvai' in 2019. Now, he has bankrolled Ajith Kumar and H Vinoth's 'Valimai'. All are expecting that 'Valimai' will definitely join his list of super hit films.
