Ajith Kumar is currently balancing his time between 'Vidaamuyarchi' and 'Good Bad Ugly.' While initial reports suggested that Siruthai Siva would direct 'AK 64,' recent updates indicate that Ajith is now in discussions to collaborate with a renowned Pan-Indian director for two consecutive films.
Exciting news has emerged that Ajith Kumar and 'KGF' director Prashanth Neel are set to join forces for 'AK 64' and 'AK 65' under the banner of Hombale Films. Their first collaboration is expected to be a standalone project, while their second film will reportedly mark the beginning of the Prashanth Cinematic Universe, with its climax leading into 'KGF 3.'
'AK 64' is slated to begin production by 2025, followed by 'AK 65' in 2026. Prashanth Neel is anticipated to start working on 'AK 64' after completing 'Salaar 2,' as his project 'Dragon' with Jr NTR is delayed due to Jr NTR's other commitments. However, an official confirmation is still awaited. There is speculation that these reports are false, while some say that Ajith will team up with Prashanth Neel after completing a film with Siva.
