Actor and minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's production house, Red Giant Movies, is currently the market leader in Tamil cinema. The media company is best known for bankrolling magnum opus films and distributing many acclaimed and successful movies. They are distributing Ajith Kumar's highly anticipated 61st flick, Thunivu, in Tamil Nadu.

Thunivu, directed by H Vinoth, is clashing with Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varisu at the box office on Pongal 2023. The films of Ajith and Vijay are releasing on the same day (Jan 12) after 9 years. It is already known that Lalit Kumar's Seven Screen Studio bagged the distribution rights of Varisu in TN. Now, the hot news is Red Giant Movies are also joining in the distribution of Varisu in select regions.

Seven Screen Studio unveiled the area wise distributors list of Vijay's Varisu this morning with a special video. It was revealed that the Thunivu distributor Red Giant Movies will be releasing Varisu as well in the major regions - Chennai City, Chengalpet, Coimbatore, North Arcot and South Arcot. Fans of both actors are so happy because Thunivu & Varisu will get equal screens in Tamil Nadu as a common distributor is involved.
