Ajith Kumar starrer 'Thunivu' is undoubtedly one of the most-awaited films of the year, which marks the actor's hattrick collaboration with director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor. This bank heist entertainer is all set to storm the silver screens on Pongal 2023, competing with Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu'.
We already updated you that Thunivu was certified U/A by the censor board and the runtime is around 2 hours and 23 minutes. Now, a viral picture doing rounds on the internet confirms the censor details of the film. It is a screen grab from the CBFC website, which reveals that the final runtime of Thunivu after the censor process is 2 hours 25 minutes and 48 seconds.
Going by the image, it is safe to say that Thunivu has undergone at least 13 changes in the censor process. Reportedly, the bad words and offensive dialogues were muted/replaced and a visual was trimmed to half. The official announcement of the exact release date is expected soon as the censor process is now over.
The movie also stars Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, Ajay, Bucks, Veera, John Kokken, Mahanadhi Shankar, Mohana Sundaram and many others in important roles. Ghibran composed the music for Thunivu with lyrics by Vaisagh. Nirav Shah handled the cinematography with editing by Vijay Velukutty and stunts by Supreme Sundar.
