Ajith Kumar's Thunivu is all set for a grand Pongal release in 2023. The post-production and promotional activities are on track for the aimed release date. According to the sources, the latest is that Thunivu has completed the censor process.

The CBFC issued a U/A certificate for Thunivu and the final runtime is around 2 hours and 23 minutes (143 minutes). An official announcement of the same with a new poster is expected from the makers soon. Also, the exact release date will be revealed shortly as the censor is done. As per sources, Thunivu is releasing in theatres on 12 January 2023.

On the other hand, it is being reported that the Thunivu trailer will be launched tomorrow from around 11 AM to 1 PM. We already updated you that the Thunivu trailer will be screened at Burj Khalifa and NY Times Square. Thunivu is said to be an action entertainer set in the backdrop of a bank heist.

The film stars Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Ajay, Veera, Mahanadhi Shankar, Amir, Pavni, Cibi Chandran, GM Sundar, Bhagavathy Perumal and others. Ghibran has composed the musical score for the movie which has cinematography by Nirav Shah, editing by Vijay Velukutty and stunt by Supreme Sundar.
