Ajith 57 is the biggest ever for this film industry veteran

Thala Ajith's 57th film has been launched with a formal pooja yesterday (6/7/2016). The film that will be directed by Siva for the third time with Ajith Kumar after their successful unions for 'Veeram' and 'Vedalam' is yet to be titled and as of now it will be referred to as 'AK 57'.

'AK 57' will be produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the prestigious banner which has produced many successful films with good content cross linguistic barriers. This production house has the glory of launching ace director Mani Ratnam in Tamil with 'Pagal Nilavu,' back in 1985.

This is the 32nd production venture of this prestigious banner which is also producing 'Mudi Sooda Mannan' with Vikram Prabhu in the lead.

Speaking about the film and their first association with the 'Varalaru' actor, Producer T.G.Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films said, "It is our immense pride to be associated with Mr Ajith Kumar. We as a company have a tradition to produce films that ensure commercial value as well as content value.We were always up dated in terms of production values. AK 57 as it is called as of now will be our biggest by all means.The script Director Siva had narrated to us and the perfect planning he puts into practice in every move assure a great success.This film will be short extensively in Abroad and the Title and details will be announced in time to time."

While Anirudh Ravichander composes music,Vetri Palanisamy continues the good work of cinematography following Veeram and Vedhalam in this film too. Antony L Ruben is the editor of the mega film for which the hunt is on for the Heroine and other important roles.

AK 57` fever has already started catching up with the fan brigade of Thala.
