On Tuesday, Ajith Kumar returned to Chennai from Azerbaijan. We reported that the actor took a break from the shooting to attend to personal matters. Reports swirled online that he had taken time off to be with his wife, Shalini, who underwent surgery today. These speculations were confirmed when Shalini shared a lovely picture of AK by her side at the hospital.

Shalini Ajith shared the image with the caption, "Love you forever ❤️❤️❤️💝💝💕 (sic)," which has captured the internet's attention. Reports indicate that Ajith Kumar will resume filming for 'Vidaamuyarchi' after a few days. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film features Ajith, Trisha, Arjun, Arav, and Regina Cassandra, among others, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
