Superstar Rajinikanth has been meeting several important VIPs of Tamil cinema in recent times. His long time close friend and professional rival Kamal Haasan met him at his house along with 'Vikram' director Lokesh Kanagaraj and producer Mahendran. Similarly Sivakarthikeyan also met the Thalaivar with his 'Don' director Cibi Chakravarthy.

The Nadigar Sangam leaders Karthi, Nassar and Poochi Murugan today met Rajinikanth at his Poes Garden residence to brief him about the progess in the new building under construction for the union.

Meanwhile a photo has gone viral in which Ajith is also seen with Rajini at his residence and fans of both the superstars went berserk on social media celebrating the rare occurence. Ajith's manager Suresh Chandraa has put an end to this by saying that the photo in question is an edited on by social media users and no such meeting between Ajith and Rajini took place.

Ajith is currently busy with his new movie 'AK 61' directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor. Rajini's next 'Thalaivar 169' is expected to go on floors by the end of July. The film is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures.
