Ajith Kumar starrer 'Valimai' is the most-anticipated film in the star's career that is written and directed by H Vinoth. It was bankrolled by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios while the release was originally scheduled on January 13th.

Notably, the project was affected due to the pandemic and fans have been waiting for more than 2 years to witness Valimai on big screens. 'Valimai' was recently planned to release on Pongal in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi but the release got pushed indefinitely due to the increase in Covid cases and lockdown restrictions.

Now, the latest report suggests that Ajith's 'Valimai' will have added Malayalam and Kannada versions. The delay has worked in favour of the makers. The team is reportedly dubbing the movie in Malayalam and Kannada versions to make the film even bigger. So, 'Valimai' is going to be the first pan-Indian release for Ajith Kumar that will open in five languages.

Ajith Kumar will be seen as a righteous cop and a fiery rider in Valimai while the Tollywood actor Kartikeya plays the antagonist role. The film also stars Huma Qureshi, VJ Bani, Raj Ayyappa, Yogi Babu, GM Sundar, Achyuth Kumar, Chaithra Reddy and Pugazh. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for songs, while Ghibran has composed the background music.
