The entire film industry is super excited about the Pongal releases as the films of Ajith Kumar (Thunivu) and Thalapathy Vijay (Varisu) are clashing at the box office after nearly nine years. AK starrer Thunivu is directed by H Vinoth and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios.

Recently, the movie's music director Ghibran updated about the song, 'Chilla Chilla', which is a fast-paced number sung by Anirudh with lyrics by Vaisagh. Now, the latest buzz is that this song will be released as the first single by this weekend (within November 14). However, we still have to wait for an official word from the production side.

Ghibran stated that the movie had a piece of melodic background music and said that the film has three songs in them. He also revealed that the songs are powerful with modern music. Sources say that the promotional song 'Chilla Chilla' is being filmed now. Reportedly, the song is a dance number.

Actor Ciby Chandran took to his social media page to share a BTS photo with Ajith Kumar from the sets. As per the latest reports, the final shooting for the movie will be wrapped by next week and it will move into full-fledged post-production soon. It is worth mentioning that the film's post-production works started parallelly, earlier.

Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, Ajay, Veera, John Kokken, GM Sundar, Ciby Chandran, Amir, Pavni and others are cast in pivotal roles in Thunivu. Nirav Shah is taking care of the visuals with editing by Vijay Velukutty and stunts by Supreme Sundar. Reportedly, the film's story revolves around a bank robbery based on a real incident that happened in Punjab.
