Ajith Kumar is currently filming intense action scenes for his highly-anticipated movie, Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, on location in Spain. The next leg of production is set to take place in Bulgaria, with Ajith and co-star Trisha expected to join for the shoot. Originally slated for a Pongal 2025 release, recent updates indicate that Good Bad Ugly may now shift its release to Summer 2025.

Speculation over this change intensified after reports suggested Vidaamuyarchi* another upcoming Ajith project, might take the coveted Pongal 2025 slot. Adding fuel to the buzz, Mythri Movie Makers announced that Romeo Pictures has secured theatrical rights for Good Bad Ugly across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.

The announcement, notably missing the Pongal release tag, has fans abuzz, speculating that Vidaamuyarchi could indeed be the Pongal release. Meanwhile, the team behind Vidaamuyarchi is yet to complete filming, with a promotional song still pending. The dual release buzz around Ajith’s upcoming projects has taken the internet by storm.
