The news that Ajith wanted to talk to one of his heroines who acted with him 13 years back and asked his current heroine to help him reach her has moved fans. Ajith Kumar starred in dual roles in the 2010 film 'Asal' produced by Sivaji Productions. Actress Bhavana and Sameera Reddy played the female leads.

Bhavana in one of her recent interviews has stated that at the time of 'Thunivu' shooting Ajith Kumar had enquired about her to actress Manju Warrier and expressed his wish to speak to her. Manju had then tried calling her but couldnt reach her and later when the Bengaluru based actress did receive the call she was luckily in Chennai.

Bhavana then had immediately visisted the 'Thunivu' sets in Chennai and spent quality time with Ajith catching up after 13 long years. She had later dined with Ajith and Manju and shared the photos on social media on the superstar's birthday. The 37 year old actress gushed that she was moved beyond words that such a big legend remembered her after so long and voluntarily reached out. Bhavana finished off by stating that it is this genuine love that makes people celebrate him so much,

Bhavana will return to Tamil cinema after more than a decade in the new movie 'The Door' directed Jaiidev and produced by Naveen Rajan with Varun Unni composing the music. Manju Warrier on the other hand has also started shooting her third Tamil film 'Mr. X' starring Gautham Karthik and Arya in which she is playing the chief antagonist.

Ajith Kumar's new movie 'Vidaamuyarchi' will go on floors in a few weeks time. The film directed by Magizh Thirumeni is produced on a grand scale by Magizh Thirumeni with Anirudh scoring the music.
