The 'Valimai' combo - Ajith Kumar, director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor teamed up once again for 'AK61'. While the actor's fans waited more than 3 years for an update during the Valimai time, they have been waiting patiently for the 'AK61' update once again.

The AK61 shoot commenced with a pooja ceremony in April 2022 and it was said that the film would hit the screens on Diwali. But the makers couldn't complete the shoot within Diwali and there is no update on the movie's title and first look as well. Meanwhile, the latest buzz on social media is that the 'AK61' official update is on the way.

According to our sources, the AK61 title and first look poster will be out anytime today after 6 PM. The fans might also get a second look poster or motion poster, going by the speculations. It is safe to say that the AK fans will get an update on the movie within tomorrow. Reportedly, the title of AK61 is either 'Thunivu' or 'Aatam'. It seems that Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies acquired the theatrical release rights in Tamil Nadu.

Ajith is said to be playing dual roles in AK61 while Manju Warrier plays the female lead. John Kokken, Samuthirakani, Ajay, Mahanadhi Shankar, Cibi Chandran and others play pivotal roles. With music by Ghibran, Nirav Shah has cranked the camera. The entire shooting will be completed in October month. The team is aiming for a Pongal 2023 release.
