A few days ago, Indiaglitz reported to you that Ajith Kumar has resumed shooting for his upcoming film tentatively called 'AK61'. The movie is said to be a bank heist thriller directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios.

Ajith Kumar started shooting for 'AK61' again in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh earlier this month after enjoying his Europe trip and rifle shooting championship. Now, the latest buzz is that the makers have wrapped up the Vizag schedule. They have shot some intense action sequences in the recent schedule.

Sources also tell us that the next leg of filming will commence soon in Hyderabad. Ajith Kumar's combination scenes with the female lead Manju Warrier are expected to be filmed in the upcoming Hyderabad schedule. 'AK61' also stars Veera, Ajay, John Kokken, Samuthirakani and Mahanadhi Shankar in pivotal roles.

'AK61' has Ghibran handling the musical score while Nirav Shah handles the cinematography. The makers are planning to release the film on a festival date in December 2022 or January 2023. This film marks the third consecutive collaboration of Ajith Kumar, director Vinoth and Boney Kapoor.
