Ajith Kumar has been delivering one blockbuster hit after another in the past decade or so. His most recent action entertainer 'Thunivu' directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor has turned out to be his career best in worldwide collections. Now all eyes are on his 62nd film around which much drama is played out.

Several months back it was officially announced that 'AK 62' will be directed by Vignesh Sivan and produced by Lyca Productions with Anirudh scoring the music. After extensive preproduction work Vignesh Shivan has been removed from the project due to creative differences.

It has been reported that Magizh Thirumeni of 'Thadam' fame has come on board and will direct 'AK 62' which will go on floors in March. Meanwhile after the release of 'Thunivu' Ajith has been on yet another European tour and also took rest at his London residence for a few weeks. Since Lyca also has an office there most of the dealings regarding the changes to the crew were made there.

Ajith has now apparently returned to Chennai and was spotted at the airport where he posed for photos with his hardcore fans. Now fans are eagerly waiting for the official updates on 'AK 62' which is expected in weeks time at the most.
