'AK 57'- Plot, characters, shooting and release plans revealed !!!

Thala Ajith Kumar's 'AK 57' shooting has begun a few days back in Europe. Now the film's producer T.G.Thiyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films banner has revealed many interesting and important details about the much anticipated film that will be directed by Siva who has teamed up with Ajith for the third time after the super hits 'Veeram' and 'Vedalam'.
Here we bring you the important details of 'AK 57' all revealed by Thiyagarajan in an interview to a Tamil weekly magazine.
Sathya Jyothi films have been trying to do a film with Ajith for the past three years.
After completing Vedalam', Ajith came forward to do a film for the prestigious banner with the same team of director and technicians.
- Ajith plays an Interpol officer in AK 57'.
- Kajal Aggarwal is acting as the female lead.
- It is officially confirmed that Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara Haasan has been roped in for another important female character. This will be her debut in Tamil as an actress.
- The shooting has begun on the auspicious18th day of Tamil month Aadi (August 2, 2016) in Belgrade.
- After undergoing surgeries on the leg and shoulder Ajith has been taking rest for the past seven months. In this period Ajith prepared himself for AK 57'. He worked out in gym for five to six hours a day and has trimmed his physique.
- Action sequences will be the highlight of AK 57' and they will be grand.
- This film will be in an altogether different patter from Veeram' and Vedalam'.
- 70% of the film will be shot in various European nations while the remaining 30% will be in India.
- A crime takes place in Tamil Nadu and the investigation of its origin leads to European nations. This is the plot of the film and the protagonist (Ajith) is an Interpol officer in-charge, investigating this crime.
- Music director Anirudh Ravichander has already completed the Theme Music for the film. The film will have four songs.
- The makers planning to bring AK 57' to the theaters in April 2017.
