Thala Ajith's 57th film, temporarily referred to as 'AK 57' went on the floor last month in Europe. The film, directed by Siva has Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead.

Now we have an important update about the progress of this biggest and prestigious production venture of Satya Jyothi Films banner.

We learn from a reliable source that the entire 'AK 57' unit, including Ajith have returned to Chennai after completing the first 30 days long schedule in Europe. The second schedule will start after two weeks in Chennai. However the team will have to fly to Europe again as predominant parts of the film will be taking place in European countries.

'AK 57' will mark the Tamil debut of Akshara Haasan as an actor. The film also stars Appukutty, Thambi Ramaiah and a few other prominent actors. Anirudh Ravichander is rendering the musical score for this project.
