Thala Ajith has got operated in his shoulder and knee. The surgery which was earlier scheduled to be performed on November 24 was advanced by a fortnight only because the pain of the injury sustained by Ajith had exceeded the tolerance limit.

The star was admitted to a hospital last evening and the six hours long surgery was performed overnight. Before being taken to operation theater Thala Ajith seems to have inquired whether the problem caused by the eruption of violence between his fans and his contemporary actor Vijay's fans in Tirunelveli.

Few persons from both the factions were allegedly injured due to the unfortunate incident and Police had to intervene and disperse the violent mob of fans.

Sources also reveal that Ajith has taken stock of the Vijay-Ajith fan wars which is getting crazier day by day and we need not be surprised if he issues a statement to put an end to this from his side very soon.
