While the media and the entire fans of Ajith are going gaga over the phenomenal collections of his latest film 'Vedalam' Thala Ajith may not be able to celebrate it as he has been admitted to a private hospital to undergo a knee and shoulder surgery. Sources reveal that the surgery to be performed tonight will be a six hour procedure.

Ajith sustained a severe injury while performing a risky stunt sequence in 'Arramabam' in the year 2013. While shooting for 'Vedalam' he got injured in the same place at his leg and a surgery became imminent and had to be performed very soon.

The surgery was earlier reported to be scheduled on November 24 but now there seems to be an advancement.
