Ajith can afford a smile

Actor Ajith has every reason to be happy these days.
For his Ji directed by Lingusamy released last week has witnessed a fantastic opening all over the State. The movie is running to packed houses in all theatres where it has been released.
The movie has done a lot of good for Ajith for the fact that his last few films had taken a beating at the box office. Heaving a sigh of relief, Ajith says, "I believe that Ji is a film in which I have given my best performance. Not just my histrionics rather my diction of the dialogues and body language were better".
"I have been receiving a positive response from the audience and I hope the movie would sustain the fantastic opening that it had seen so far."
My last Attagasam was a commercial movie and had Ji been released before Attagasam, the response could have been much better", says Ajith, who is known to speak straight from his heart.
On his future aspirations, Ajith says, "I want to cover all sections of the audience and give them value for their money. I have been repeatedly saying that I would emerge a superstar. More than me, the producers and directors who do movies with me should also feel that I have every quality to become a superstar.Success can be achieved only by teamwork".
On his Go Green campaign, Ajith says, "I should do something for the earth in which I live. It's my small contribution towards the society. I am happy that my fans are following suit now. However Go Green cannot be successful overnight. It would take at least 15 years for me to accomplish my vision".
On whether he would like to enter politics, he says "though I have played a student taking a plunge into politics in Ji, it cannot be achieved in real life. Cinema is a medium of exaggeration narrated to get the attention of the audience".
On his next project, he says, "after God Father, I am doing a movie for director Bala." It is all a hard work.
But for now he can afford to smile.
