Actor Ajith had acted last year in the movie Viswasam directed by Siva. The movie produced by Sathyajyothi films released on Pongal 2019 amf and became the biggest blockbuster in Ajith's career despite releasing alongside Petta.

Also starring Nayanthara, Anikha Surendran and Jagapathi Babu, Viswasam had music by D.Imman and besides box office records, Viswasam also created television records. The movie broke existing records to become the movie with the maximum TRP (18.14 million impressions).

Recently, Viswasam was telecast for the third time on TV, and even in third telecast the movie achieved a TRP of 16.12 million impressions, creating a new record.
