Director Siva of 'Siruthai' and 'Veeram' fame is keeping his fingers crossed as the people's verdict on his next film 'Vedalam' for which he has worked day and night for months together will be known in the next few days.

Thala Ajith and Shruthi Haasan are the lead actors in this film and thanks to the superior mass power of Ajith and the teamwork that ensured the film's release on the grand festival Deepavali, 'Vedalam' which is releasing on a humungous scale across the globe is tipped to break all previous records created by Tamil films in terms of opening collections at the box office.

To ensure this the AJith and Siva seems to have decided to invoke the blessings of the Supreme power as both of them are staunch devotees of lord. Sources reveal that the star and the filmmaker have visited the Tirumala Thirupathi temple of Lord Sri Venkateshwara today to pray for the success of 'Vedalam' They are expected to return to Chennai tonight, after finishing the Darshan.

it worth recalling that Siva and Ajith visited the same temple together before the release of their first film 'Veeram' and also offered tonsured their head for the lord. The film that released for the Pongal 2014 turned out to be a huge success.
