Ajith’s 55th film with director Gautham Menon was supposed to have started this week but for many reasons including Ajith’s new looks for the film, the commencement has been postponed to a few more weeks. The film is going to be produced by A.M.Ratnam and Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.

But there is good news for the fans of the star and the director. Reliable sources state that Ajith and Gautham will be meeting today to have a final word on the script which has been completed by the director a few days ago. Official announcements regarding the project can be expected very soon.

Meanwhile there are reports suggesting that Anushka who was earlier linked up firmly with the project may not be able to grab the offer owing to her commitments for two Telugu mega budget historical ventures, Bahubali and Rani Rudramma Devi. However there is no official confirmation regarding the heroine of Ajith-Gautham film as yet.
