That Ajith has done a cameo in Sridevi's comeback venture 'English Vinglish' is no more news. The news is that the 'Thala' has not received any remuneration for his 'guest appearance'.

Not just that, Ajith took care of all his expenses, including his flight ticket to Mumbai and his stay there, firmly refusing repeated requests from the movie's producer that he would at least book tickets and hotel room.

"This has left the cast and crew of English Vinglish in awe. They are still talking about the gesture of Ajith. Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor, English Vinglish producer Balki and others related to the project are all praise for him," say sources.

Ajith shot for his cameo in the Tamil version of 'English Vinglish' Monday last week in Mumbai. In the Hindi version, the guest appearance is by Amitabh Bachchan.
