Steve Smith loses captaincy of Rajasthan Royals after cheating scandal

Steve Smith from being one the world's most respected batsmen and captains has now become a sort of outcast after admitting to cheating by ball tampering in the third test against South Africa which he still lost by a huge margin.  He has since been sacked as captain of Australia and has also stepped down from the leadership role in Rajasthan Royals.

Rajasthan Royals the winners of the 2008 IPL title have named Ajinkya Rahane as the new captain and Manoj Badale , the co-owner of Rajasthan Royals has stated "“The game is bigger than any individual and we hold this thought close to our heart.”  It is still unknown whether Steve Smith will continue as a player or not.
